== Job Description ==

A fresh blood who desires to keep the crew's blood pumping, you'll mostly stay in medbay trying to recover any patient that gets dragged here or walks on his own, and assist any medical staff to gain knowledge.

== Now what? ==

Good! you got your medical license and ready to serve.. now, what? well let's start off by something simple, the start of the round will USUALLY be relaxed, not many patients or emergencies, this is your greatest oportunity to ask around, talk and learn.

Now, the time has come, your first patient! there's 5 types of damage, each one having specific subtype depending on the situation

<li> Brute: Brute damage is any damage on the physical body, from stabs, to shots, there's slash , blunt , piercing </li>

<li> Heat: Any damage that is made by hot stuff (lasers, electricity, etc), there's burn , cold , shock and caustic (fun fact, dealing heat damage to your self can painfully close your bleeding wounds) </li>

<li> Airloss: Any difficulty for your patient to breathe, this includes asphyxiation and bloodloss (which happens when patient's blood is below 80%) </li>

<li> Toxic: Something not so obvious to the eye, your patients insides are not feeling good, this is posion and radiation .

<li> Celullar: It is damage to the genetic of your body, the most rare damage type of the game, and their medicines even more rare. </li>

== Oh god how do I heal ==

Alright, your patient has ran in, he feels pain, hell he's BLEEDING infront of you! well, there's an important item called.. "medical scanner", it is very obvious, a handheld item that allows you to scan your patient, allowing you to see all kinds of information, from damage, to what body part is damage, to bone/organ damage and even blood levels.

After carefully inspecting your patients damage now it's the time to properly act, you have 2 main ways to heal

<li> Topicals: the most common item, easy to craft for anyone in the medical department, just head to the medic techfab and you'll see the recipe there, no research needed! They work even on dead people (this, is VERY important), just use the correct topical and you'll be fine </li>

<li> Chemicals: Now this, is where the difficulty comes in, there's many chemicals in the game, far too many, luckily for you chemists (HOPEFULLY) correctly label their chemical jugs, once you find the correct chemical, you grab a syringe, fill it and inject, however if you pay attention you will notice the chemist puts "OD", OD means overdose, essentially bad things will happen if this ammount of the chemical is in the patients body, so pay attention to that number and AVOID IT AT ALL COST. Sadly, chemicals do not work on dead people (unless they're cryogenic chemicals), a good way to do it, is to heal up patient a bit, defib them and quickly inject chemicals </li>
