Traumastation offers many unique jobs to the player, while also keeping low time requirements. Essentially, that means you do not have to play tons of hours to unlock them, unlike other servers.

The tables were taken and modified from Paradise Station wiki, and therefore use their "Initiative" system which is explained below:

Initiative Required ranks how much initiative you need to take to have a fun round. A low initiative role will have things happen to them which will keep them busy. A high ranking means you need to start projects and take initiative to have a good round. The rank is based on an average round. Some rounds will be hectic, even for high initiative roles.

Despite the hours required to unlock each job, it is expected by the player to hold a certain roleplay standard depending on the importance of said role.

Station Command

Handle access reassignment fairly using your ID console, manage the Service department, and keep Ian safe. Medium Medium 1.5 Hours as Civilian, 1.5 Hours as Service

Head of Security
Manage your security force and keep them efficient, quell dissent, and keep the other heads of staff safe. Low Extremely Hard 3 Hours as Security

Chief Engineer
Manage the Engineering department to ensure power, atmospherics, and the hull are in perfect shape. Low Hard 3 Hours as Engineering

Research Director
Manage the Science department, unlocking technologies, acquiring & researching artifacts, and performing experiments. Low Medium 3 Hours as Science

Chief Medical Officer
Manage the resources and personnel of the Medical department to keep the crew alive. Low Hard 3 Hours as Medical

Quartermaster
Manage the supplies of the station & the Cargo department, keep the salvage specialists working, make sure all orders are fulfilled, and keep the money flowing. Low Medium 3 Hours as Cargo

Central Command Dignitaries

While VIPs do not have their own category listed under the Crew Manifest, they belong to the Command Department.

Investigate crime scenes officers can't or won't solve. Help your department arrest the criminals you investigated. Keep an eye over evidence. Medium Medium 1 Hour as Security

Security Cadet
Uphold Space Law and ensure the safety of the crew. This is a beginner role. Medium Medium 2 Hours Overall. Closes when reaching 3 Hours.

Engineering

Chemist
Synthesize medicine for patients. Set up cryo cells. Make the clown a whole jug of lube, and get arrested for possession of explosive compounds. Low Medium 1 Hour as Medical

Virologist
Create beneficial viruses for the crew, cure epidemics, and get lynched for allegedly spreading the common cold. Be a neat freak. Low Medium 2 Hours as Medical

Psychologist
Handle insane patients. Do mental check ups. Have one-on-one psychological sessions with those in need. High Easy None!

Medical Intern

Research

Geneticist
Discover genetic powers. Oversee cloning operations. Become an invisible telepathic halfling. Low Medium 1.5 Hours as Science

Research Assistant
Research new technology, create explosives, experiment with strange objects or synthesize dangerous chemicals. Low Medium None! Closes after reaching 3 Hours.

Cargo

Bartender

Radio Host
Host a radio show to keep the crew entertained. Be ignored. Play fart music out of boredom. High Low None!

Botanist
Grow useful plants for the Chef and station or fill the hallway with bees. Low Medium None!

Clown
Slip everyone, especially when you shouldn't really be slipping them. Honk! High Low A sense of humour.

Mime
Entertain the crew by acting out funny, interesting or dramatic scenes. High Low None!

Chaplain
Spread your faith, organize rituals, assist Security. Be the medium between gods and the crew, and praise the emperor. High Easy None!

Librarian
Fill the bookcases with books, argue with the Chaplain. Run a D&D session nobody shows up to. High Easy None!
