Insurgents are minor team antagonists that spawn every single round, they spawn in groups of 1 - 3 in their shuttle with the objective of surviving and escaping on the evacuation shuttle. Insurgents are allowed to do general menace activities, but still have to follow escalation and are always valid to crew.

So, what do I do?

Firstly turn off your IFF on the IFF console, It's the biggest giveaway. Start with FTLing to the station then trying to salvage wrecks for useful supplies likes meds, weapons, EVA suits, ect. You can't stay in your ship forever, you have limited power so either infiltrate the station or salvage for plasma. Once you arrive on the station eventually, just know that any simple mobs will target insurgents even mice and other rodents so be weary.

Your ship will spawn with one multitool, insulative gloves, maintenance locker, maintenance altar, and a EVA suit. Remember you're a team antagonist so cooperation is needed if you want to survive!

Budget Insulative Gloves Has a chance to be insulative or worse than just having nothing. Punch a wire or try hacking a door to see if they're real.
Utility Belt Full utility belt minus the multitool.
Headset Basic headset only has common use :c to talk to the crew.
Welding Mask Normal welding mask starts on your face. Probably should take it off unless you like being blind.
Gas Mask Standard gas mask let's you breathe with oxygen tanks.
Deactivated Bomb Collar Unremovable. Takes up your neck slot and instantly outs you as a insurgent.
Satchel Storage for stolen goodies or whatever you want in it.
Flashlight I think everyone knows what a flashlight does. Press z to turn it on.
