Job Description
As a botanist, your job is to provide the station with all sorts of plants, vegetables and fruits. You will need to grow plants for the Chef to cook more complex meals and Cargo for them to fulfill their bounties and sell them for a massive payment. As a botanist you need to tend to your plants by watering, feeding them nutriments, weeding out any weeds and finally harvesting your plants.
Meet Your Tools!
Botanists get a bunch of tools and machines to allow their plants to reach great heights of potential and power! However, before we can rule the world using Killer Tomatoes and omnizine/meth mixes reaching the hundreds, we have to learn how to plant and how to utilize the items given to us!
Important Machines!
- hydroponics tray: this is where you will plant your seeds to begin your journey through floral domination! it has indicators that will tell you what's wrong with your plant and how much nutriment and water is left in the hydroponics tray. (Shift + Left Click) to examine and see the information.
- seed extractor: makes seeds using the fruits of your labor. (Left Click) with the harvested crop in your hand to turn it into seeds of that plant. It will copy all the genes of the plant it was harvested from so use that to expand your empire!
- biogenerator: turns biomass into various produce and chemicals. Fill it with nutriment rich harvest to make biomass. Use it to make chemicals like Unstable Mutagen, Left-for-Zed and Phalaxamine! Look into the chemicals available to see how far you can take it!
